A total of only 4 electrolytic capacitors with 3 bypass capacitors.

If we cannot do without electrolytic capacitors, then the electrolytic capacitors get bypass capacitors. We only use high-quality electrolytic capacitors from Panasonic.

At Premium-Hifi, we expect even better channel separation from the separation of half the operating voltage. If the 1/2 UB is separated for right and left, there is less crosstalk and the spatial resolution increases. A measure that doesn't cost much, but makes much more sense than using expensive cables!

We provide all active components and groups with additional support and block capacitors.

All OP amplifiers receive a support capacitor close to the IC, and the circuit board also receives a capacitor. Electrolytic capacitors, however good they may be, are always fitted with a bypass capacitor! These are even designed as film capacitors at critical points.

The perforated grid area of the previous version has been omitted. No changes or extensions are planned. 4 LEDs indicate the operating voltage (gn), the enable (ge) and an additional peak LED in red (+ 6 dB) for left and right. The peak LEDs are located directly on the respective trimmers. This makes it particularly easy to set the peak display.

Separate ground planes, shielding planes for the right and left headphone amplifier, the mute switch and the measuring amplifier for the VU meter and peak display. The UB also come separately from a central point to the individual amplifiers. The new monitor circuit board has wide and 70 µm thick conductor tracks.

You cannot avoid a comparison of the VU meter and the peak display! Even if we check and preset the monitor board, this cannot replace the adjustment. You will need a 1kHz signal source and an accurate AC millivoltmeter to calibrate.
