Repairs are designed to maintain the functionality of the device and preserve its current value. This will not increase the value of your Revox and Studer devices.
The main purpose of the repair is to ensure that the device functions satisfactorily and complies with all parameters specified by the manufacturer.During the repair, only the defective components are replaced and invoiced including troubleshooting and functional testing.
A repair at Premium-Hifi includes:
the Incoming inspection and comparison with the customer's error information
the Troubleshooting, error analysis and possible consultation with the customer
the Replacement of defective components, assemblies and restoration of function
the Checking device-specific parameters such as synchronism, quiescent current, frequency response, and so on

Unfortunately, it often happens that repaired devices are advertised as refurbished and sold at an inflated price. Upon reviewing the repair invoice that comes with the device, you'll find that only three capacitors, a fuse, and possibly a light bulb have been replaced. In our opinion, this is far from a complete overhaul; it's simply fraud!
We can and only want to guarantee our work! Our warranty only covers our work and the components and assemblies we use. The risk that a fault will recur with the device after the repair is very high. Nevertheless, we at Premium-Hifi also perform professional repairs and are happy to advise you on this!
