Pause function
We have been manufacturing the pause circuit for all Revox B77 and all Revox PR99 since 2004. We began manufacturing the plug-in version in 2014.

Recording
You can start any recording from pause or directly. The record LEDs indicate that the unit is ready to record even during pause. Pressing the pause button will then start recording immediately.
An incomparable gain in comfort!
The resting pause is especially important when recording!
As a result you will receive:
A Revox tape machine with a real pause.
You only need one button to start recording!
The wired remote control can be used without any modification and without restrictions.
The IR remote control can be used without restriction via the receiver B202 (with tin bridge on break 77).

SMD
Only with SMD technology is the circuit board small and therefore cost-effective. The most expensive components are the circuit boards, followed by the pin and socket headers. Labor costs must not be overlooked!
Conductor routing
All conductor tracks are connected 1:1.
This makes querying at the touch of a button and setting and holding the pause somewhat more difficult!
pluggable
Unplug the cable, plug the cable's connector into the pause switch's socket, and plug the pause switch into the drive control, and that's it!
The plug and socket strips are coded, so hiding them is impossible!
The LEDs are no longer available!
Tin Bridge
instead of jumpers, saves space and material.
The tin bridge distinguishes the B77 MK I, MK II, and PR99 MK I from the PR99 MK II and MK III. Due to the internal wiring of the PR99 MK II and MK III, the bridge must be installed here. The same applies if you want to use the B77 with a wired remote control without modification.
Wired remote control
Modifying the wired remote control is just as easy as installing the Pause 77. Loosen the four screws under the rubber feet.
Wire hanger
Just a small wire hanger makes all the difference!
The pause function works mechanically and cannot be cancelled electrically!
To prevent this wire bracket from getting lost, you should wrap it in a small bag and place it inside the remote control. Of course, make sure it doesn't block any buttons!
Equal treatment
After removing these small wire brackets, the pause button on the remote control no longer has a mechanical latch. This means that the pause buttons on the Revox tape machines, the cable remote control, and the infrared remote control have equal rights. Each pause button can activate and deactivate the pause function, regardless of where the pause was activated.
